The Art House ran four bursaries for emerging artists during 2003, in partnership with other organisations.

The artists were:

Karen Welsh, at the Richard Attenborough Centre at the University of Leicester

Ben Cove, at Yorkshire Art Space in Sheffield

Anne-Marie Watson, at St. Luke's in Grimethorpe near Barnsley

Adinda van 't Klooster, at the Folly Gallery in Lancaster.
